We understand that internet connections can sometimes be unstable. That’s why we’ve added an Extra Time feature that provides protection against intermittent connection failures. Extra time depends on the type of tournament you are playing. If you are playing a cash tournament, then the extra time during a game is 120 seconds. In case of practice and promotional tournaments, the extra time is 10 and 20 seconds respectively.
If you do not make the move in the alloted time, our system will automatically award extra time for you to make the move. When you’re using Extra Time to make the move, our system will automatically inform your opponent on the same table. Your Extra Time to make the move is displayed to you and the opponent and begins counting down until you make the move. If you do not make your move before your extra time runs out, you will miss your turn.
|
|
| |
|
If for some reason, you miss three consecutive moves during a game, the game will automatically end and you will receive points based on the cards in your hand. For more on scoring, please click here (link to how is scoring done).

1. Once a tournament starts, the prize distribution appears in the tournament details of that tournament. (Before the tournament starts,
the expected prize distribution is shown to players based on the maximum seats in the tournament. If all seats are not filled when a tournament starts, the actual prize distribution is recalculated based on number of players who have joined the tournament.)
2. Based on this prize distribution, prizes are awarded.
3. If there is a tie in the final of a tournament, then the sum of first and second prize is equally split and awarded to the finalists in that tournament.
4. If one prize is to be awarded and more than one player is eligible, then the prize is awarded to the player who has lost by a smaller margin to his opponent.
On Crashes:
5. If a tournament crash is attributable to us, we will ensure that we refund your entry fee if the crash has adversely affected you.
6. In some cases, prizes may be distributed as well depending on when the crash occured during the tournament.

- First card from the pack is placed in the open deck indicating that the game has started.
|
- Remaining cards are placed face-down in the closed deck slot.
- A joker card is randomly selected at the beginning of each game.
- Printed Joker: In case a printed joker is selected as joker for a game, then players can also use Ace card of any suit as a joker in their sets and / or sequences.
- Objective : Arrange all 13 cards in-hand in sequences and/or sets.
- Each player takes turns to pick/discard a card from closed/open deck to complete sets and/or sequences.

- Compulsory: To finish the game, you must declare at least two sequences, one of which must be a pure sequence.
- Caution: With two decks, you cannot use the same card twice in a set for instance 7 ♠ 7 ♠ 7 ♥ is not a valid set.
Toss:
A toss is used to decide which player gets to make the first move. Each player is dealt a card randomly and a player with the highest face value card is selected as the winner of the toss.

- If a player misses 3 turns consecutively, the player will be dropped from the game and the player gets 40 points - which is the middle drop score. The game play will continue with other players. If there are only two players and one player drops the game, the other player is automatically selected as winner for the game.
- To complete a move, a player must pick a card and then discard a card.
- Cards discarded by players can be viewed under 'Open Cards' tab available next to the chat tab. Open cards tab will display all the cards that are currently present in the open deck slot.
- If the first open card in the open deck slot is a joker, then only the players making the first move are allowed to pick the card.

- Each player gets a maximum of 25 moves per game after which all players will be asked to declare their sets/sequences.
- Each game can be played for a maximum of 30 minutes after which all players will be asked to declare their sets/sequences.
Extra Time
Each player is allotted some extra time per game.
- If a player does not make a move in the alloted move time, Extra Time will start counting down.

- A player finishing the game must arrange all 13 cards in sets/sequences. There should be at least two sequences, one of which must be a pure sequence.
- For a valid finish, a player must declare jokers in hand as part of sets/sequences.
Game Validation and Scoring
Scoring
- Each card carries a certain number of points. The winner of a game gets 0 points. The losing player gets points equal to his/her hand score which is computed as follows :
- J, Q, K, A of any suit carry 10 points each.
- All other numbered cards carry the same points as their face value e.g. 7 carries 7 points and 3 carries 3 points.
- Joker cards carry zero points.
- At the end of the game, a losing player's hand score is computed by adding points for cards that are not grouped as sets/sequences with the following exceptions.
- If the losing player has no pure sequence, all cards are counted.
- If the losing player does not have two sequences, but has a pure sequence, only the pure sequence is not counted.
- A player can get a maximum of 80 points. For instance, if a player's hand score is 85 he/she will still get only 80 points. But if a player's hand score is 75, he/she will get 75 points. In case a player does not declare cards in sets/sequences that meet the objective of the game, the player is dropped from the game with 80 points.
- Special case : If a player misses 3 consecutive turns, he/she is dropped automatically from the game. This means that this player gets a middle drop score of 40 points.
- In case a player has met the game objective but does not declare, he/she is awarded a score of 2 points.
Validation
- A valid set must contain 3 or more cards of the same face value, which cannot be of the same suit.
- A valid sequence must contain 3 or more running cards of the same suit.
- A valid pure sequence must contain 3 or more running cards of the same suit without a Joker.
- A Joker can be used in a pure sequence if it is of the same suit and forms a sequence of running cards.
- Disconnection Protection : If your cards are already grouped and someone else declares, the grouping is taken into account as your declared sets and sequences.

|
|
| |
|

As per law, tax deduction at source (TDS) may be applicable on your winnings. The following illustrations explain how TDS will be determined for each format of the game.TDS is currently applicable at the rate of 30% on winnings and the rate of TDS and/or the exemption limit are subject to changes from time to time as required by law.
Tournaments - Example
- Suppose you participate in a tournament with Rs. 100/- entry fee and win Rs. 12,000/- in that tournament.
- Since your net winning in that tournament is Rs. 11,900/- (Rs. 12,000/- minus Rs. 100/-) which is greater than Rs.10,000/-, a TDS of 30% will be applicable of the net winning amount (Rs. 11,900/-) and will be deducted from the winning amount (Rs. 12,000/-).
- Rs. 3,570/- (Rs. 11,900 x 30%) will be deducted from your winning amount and your account will be credited for Rs. 8,430/- (Rs. 12,000/- minus Rs. 3,570/-).
Points Rummy - Example
- Suppose you participate in a Points Rummy game and your cash winning in that game is Rs. 13,000/-. Since your winning is greater than Rs. 10,000/-, a TDS at the rate of 30%, will be deducted from the winning amount.
- Rs. 3,900/- (Rs. 13,000/- x 30%) will be deducted from the winning in that game and Rs. 9,100/- (Rs. 13,000/- minus Rs. 3,900/-) will be credited to your money on the table.
- Note: Currently, as the maximum point value in a Points Rummy game offered on the website is Rs. 25/- per point, the winning in a single game (2 or 6 players) will not exceed Rs. 10,000/-. Therefore, as of now this is below the TDS limit.
Pool Rummy - Example
- You participate in a game of Pool Rummy with Rs. 3,500/- entry fee and win Rs. 20,000/- in that Pool Rummy game.
- Since your net winning in that game is Rs. 16,500/- (Rs. 20,000 minus Rs. 3,500/-) which is greater than Rs. 10,000/-, TDS of 30% will be applicable of the net winning amount (Rs. 16,500/-) and will deducted from the winning amount of Rs. 20,000/-.
- Rs. 4,950/- (Rs. 16,500 x 30%) will be deducted as TDS and your account will be credited for Rs. 15,050/- (Rs. 20,000/- minus Rs. 4,950/-).
