Headquartered in Delhi, the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation envisions a world where children are free, safe, healthy and receive quality education to realize their potential. Founded by Nobel Peace Laureate, Kailash Sathyarthi, the foundation works on protecting children from vulnerable backgrounds from the harsh realities of sexual abuse, trafficking and child labor and simultaneously sensitize their communities through counseling programs to help create a safe haven for children to thrive.

Games24x7 has partnered with the foundation to implement the Bal Mitra Gram, a flagship project, in Chamarajnagar district Karnataka. Here children are rescued from vulnerable situations and enrolled in schools with an aim to provide them access to education as well as create a safety net around them and protect them through sensitization programs. The program is run with the objective of reducing the number of students in vulnerable situations, increasing enrollment in schools and ensuring high retention rates of students year-on-year and will directly impact over 4,000 children.

Further, with an aim to protect villages in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, Games24x7 and KSCF provided specific interventions to strengthen health infrastructure at their district and village levels. The distribution initiatives undertaken provided access to infrastructure required to protect and vaccinate current residents as well as protect from future COVID-19 shocks. This included support to district hospitals, provision of Covid Care resources (oximeters, oxygen cylinders, etc.), awareness drives on Covid appropriate behavior as well as vaccination drives and engagement in over 350 villages in 13 districts across both states.
